Location: Virginia Schedule: Required night float (in house) 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Overtime is expected as outlined in the order details. Openings: 2

Position Overview: Provide anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting in a medical direction model. Case mix includes general, obstetrics, neuro, and orthopedics. MDs supervise CRNAs and may do their own cases as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope:

• Medical direction model with supervision ratio up to 1 to 4
• Case types include general, OB, neuro, and orthopedics
• Number of anesthesia rooms: 20
• EMR: Epic
• Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, obtaining and verifying consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Degree from an accredited college of medicine
• Completion of an approved anesthesia residency
• Board certification required
• Active Virginia medical license required to present

Additional Requirements:

• Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite
• Not accepting candidates needing to obtain a new state license as outlined in the order details

Credentialing:

• Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 90 days
• Temporary accelerated privileges may be available in approximately 30 to 60 days for clean files as outlined in the order details
