Strategic Sourcing is a critical function to a low-cost airline and the Strategic Sourcing Director is the key to ensuring the contracts and relationships are in place to properly support the operation in a cost-effective manner. Strong communication skills are required as all departments will require support from the Procurement Director. The Director is also responsible for leading procurement initiatives that improve the organization and keep the low-cost nature of the organization intact, while not suffering service level or quality impacts.# # **Here’s what you’ll do*** Implement proper procurement processes, leveraging subject matter experts to cater programs to meet their needs* Create and manage requests for information, quotes, and proposals (RFX)* Develop contract management standards and proper storing and retention* Provide key performance indicators for measuring procurement performance and measuring performance against implemented agreements* Negotiate contracts for purchase of goods and services for operational and corporate needs including, but not limited to, software, hardware, fuel, ground service equipment, airport services, uniforms, third-party commerce programs, components, and materials, etc.* Manage vendor management activities with internal business teams, including analyzing vendor performance, documenting failures, and following up with the vendor on complaints and other issues* Build relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers to work towards enhancing existing agreements, communicating changes, and updating contracts* Other duties as assigned* Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence# **Here’s what you need to be successful****Minimum Qualifications*** 4-year degree in Finance or a related field* 10+ years of procurement experience, including progressive leadership roles* Experience with contract review and analysis* High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility* Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills* Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success* Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines* Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986**Skills/Talents*** Knowledge of procurement best practices, total cost of ownership, planning, and analysis* Solid negotiation skills* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously* Exceptional communication skills* High-level leadership skills* Excellent organizational and time-management skills* Practices extreme ownership and transparency* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite* Exemplifies Breeze’s safety culture, values, and mission* Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization## **Physical Demands & Working Conditions*** Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer* Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating standard office equipment* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds* Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within an office environment* Clear verbal and written communication, requiring adequate speech, hearing, and vision## **Perks of the Job*** Health, Vision and Dental – Full Time* Health Savings Account with Breeze Employee Match* 401K with Breeze Employee Match* Generous PTO* Travel on Breeze and other Airlines too!Breeze Airways provides equal employment opportunities to all Team Members and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
