About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: Driver's license must be included with submission. Experience with Meditech charting system preferred. Description: Position available in the Emergency Room. Work includes labor on holidays and every fourth weekend. Float within scope to meet facility needs is required. Local candidates are accepted within a 50-mile radius. Pending state license is not accepted. Call outs of more than a week require notification. COVID-19 vaccine is required; medical and religious exemptions only. Flu vaccine is also required; medical, religious exemptions, and declinations allowed. Patient care includes a variety of age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Daily census averages around 75 visits. Patient ratio is four patients per nurse. Skills required include management of various emergency conditions. Experience with trauma care, mental health conditions, and procedural sedation is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will be able to handle emergencies and prioritize patient care effectively. Pre-approved time off requests are part of scheduling considerations.
