Requirements: You are eager to grow your skills in high-demand clinical areas such as AAC, feeding, and childhood apraxia of speech. You do your best work surrounded by a supportive and diverse team of child specialists. You have a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an Illinois state license in good standing. You have prior experience conducting assessments to identify the strengths and needs of each client. Those who know you describe you as having unflappable patience and compassion. Your role as a Speech-Language Pathologist As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, BCBAs, Mental Health Practitioners, and Neuropsychologists. Your responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose communication and feeding disorders Make appropriate cross-referrals to other disciplines Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to improve speech, language, social, and feeding skills Educate families, staff, and the community on AAC and other communication supports Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists for coordinated care Keep detailed records of progress and adjust plans as needed Next steps: We understand that joining a team is not just about the role; it's about the people, the support, and the culture.
