Job Summary And Qualifications As a Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, your skill, dedication, and impact help drive the success of every surgery. You'll prepare the surgical suite and assist during operations while collaborating with a highly skilled team that values each member’s expertise. Plans for and scrubs assigned surgical procedures in accordance with AORN, AST, quality, regulatory, and company standards. Participates in on-call rotation based on the need of the department. Operates the sterilizer and other patient care equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions after proper training. Promotes hospital processes and goals, and communicates issues, whether actual or potential, to appropriate person in the chain of command. Takes initiative in performing other duties, whether assigned or not, such as assisting with updating surgeon preference cards, pulling case carts, stocking rooms, turning-over the OR, and assisting with scheduled supply inventory. Completes other activities as assigned. Qualifications you will need Graduate of a Surgical Technology for Surgical Technologist role is required. Certification in Surgical Technology.
