Survey Project Manager

Summit Design and Engineering is currently seeking applicants for a Survey Project Manager for full timeemployment in multiple locations in North Carolina including the Raleigh Durham area, Asheville,Wilmington, and Charlotte. To be considered for this position, one must be a Professional Land Surveyor.As a Project Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for Boundary Surveys, TopographicSurveys, As-builts and Easements, and ALTA Surveys. This position offers an excellent opportunity tohave a guided career growth path, in a supportive environment and team atmosphere.Salary will be commensurate with experience and training.Responsibilities:Plan and monitor projects paying attention to budget, schedule, scope, risk, and qualityManage, support, and utilize field and CAD techniciansAbility to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D , and/or oversee drafting techniciansPerform deed/plat/records researchAnalyze and adjust field dataOversee and/or determine Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-Builts and Easements,and ALTA SurveysCommunicate with clients and other stakeholders including architects, engineers, andconstruction personnel.Maintain company standards and proceduresAdhere to Summit Core ValuesRequired Qualifications:North Carolina Professional Land Surveyor licensureMinimum of 5 years of experience as a PLSGPS, RTK, VRS and robotic total station survey experienceMust be a willing and able to listen, learn, and teach othersGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentExcellent problem-solving skills and understanding of mapping conceptsAbility to be adaptableValid driver’s license and good driving recordHigh School Diploma or G.E.DPreferred Qualifications:Also licensed in South Carolina as a PLSAbility to use Trimble Business CenterFamiliarity with using spreadsheets and Microsoft WordExperience with NCDOT projects as well as private-side surveying is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
