Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced ER RNs to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates must hold a Hawaii License before starting the assignment and be adaptable to a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients in a 28-bed ER department including trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac monitoring rooms
• Assess patient conditions quickly and prioritize care based on acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Hawaii Nursing License prior to assignment start date
• Possess at least 1-2 years of recent ER nursing experience in a high-volume setting
• Demonstrate proficiency in trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac monitoring procedures
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts reliably for a 15-week period
