Training Coordinator
Momentum at South Bay is seeking a Training Coordinator to organize and deliver non-clinical staff education and training programs that meet state and federal requirements. The ideal candidate has training experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a passion for working with older adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and schedule new hire orientation and staff training
- Support employees throughout onboarding and probation periods
- Maintain training records, compliance documentation, and education schedules
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure staff meet education, health, and fit-testing requirements
- Perform facility rounds to monitor compliance and safety practices
- Coordinate ongoing education programs across departments and shifts
- Participate in on-call rotation and assist administration as needed
Qualifications
- Training or staff education experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate and team-oriented approach to resident care
Additional Information
- Full-time position
- Exposure to infectious diseases and challenging behaviors may occur
- Duties may change based on facility needs
