Job Title

Inpatient General Surgery - Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Day/Night Rotating Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care for general surgery patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor and assess post-operative patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to coordinate and deliver patient care
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 facility
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Experience in Medical Surgical or General Surgery nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or academic medical center environment
• Strong adaptability and ability to transition quickly into new clinical settings
