$87,750 salary

The Absolut Center of Endicott is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic RN Educator to join our team. As a RN Educator , you will provide general orientation to new employees, clinical competency training and evaluation of nursing staff, and implement education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants. Responsibilities and Duties:

• General Orientation of all new employees
• Clinical Competency training and evaluation of nursing staff
• Coordination of guest educators for programs, such as IVs and Respiratory
• Implementation of education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants per the education calendar
• In-service education of all employees as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Enthusiasm and eagerness to teach
• Clinical competency with basic nursing care
• Ability to work independently and anticipate educational need with motivation to start education
• Eagerness to learn new skills and participate in the Train the Trainer programs

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 1-year experience in Long-term care
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse
• CPR certified
