Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Weekends and holidays required as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in all surgical areas across a broad range of cases including general, orthopedic, neurological, gynecological, urological, robotic, and endovascular procedures
• Perform circulating duties for complex cases such as craniotomies and laparoscopic procedures
• Utilize the Epic electronic health record system to document and manage patient care throughout the surgical episode
• Adhere to all facility policies, surgical protocols, and safety standards within the operating room
• Float to other areas as required and participate in weekend and on-call coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – compact or Tennessee state license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room circulating experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Demonstrated Epic experience within the past 12 months, clearly documented including where it was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
• Experience circulating across multiple surgical specialties including endovascular, general, ortho, neuro, gynecology, urology, and robotics

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment
• Experience as a travel nurse in an Operating Room setting
