Travel Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Wylie, TX. You will work with outpatient adult and pediatric patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them restore mobility, function, and independence under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program or COTA/approved PTA credentialing equivalent as required by state regulations. Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license required prior to the start of assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required. Outpatient experience required. Experience with post-operative orthopedics, balance training, gait training, and therapeutic exercise preferred. Experience using common outpatient modalities and equipment such as ultrasound, TENS, hot/cold packs, paraffin, therapeutic pools, whirlpools, and gait training devices required. Ability to implement treatment plans established by a Physical Therapist, document patient progress, and provide patient and family education. Strong safety awareness with experience in safe patient handling, infection control, and clinical equipment maintenance. Reliable professional appearance, punctuality, and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Preferred: prior experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule. Assignment Duration: 13 week assignment. Positions Available: 1 position. Required to follow facility policies on safety, infection control, and documentation.
