SoldererThis role focuses on precision soldering and assembly of electronic components on circuit boards for final assembly and testing. You will work with surface-mount technology and hand-soldered parts to build and prepare electronic assemblies that meet strict quality and inspection standards.ResponsibilitiesInstall small electronic components onto circuit boards as part of the final assembly and testing process.Perform surface mount soldering of circuit boards, including fine-pitch components and QFP packages.Hand solder electronic parts such as resistors, capacitors, wires, and cable harnesses onto boards.Use a microscope to inspect and verify the quality and accuracy of solder joints and component placement.Follow electronic manufacturing and assembly procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality production.Conduct visual inspections of assembled boards to identify and correct defects or rework as needed.Maintain a clean and organized individual workbench, including proper care and use of tools and equipment.Collaborate with team members on the production floor to meet output, quality, and schedule requirements.Essential SkillsHands-on soldering experience in an electronic manufacturing or assembly environment.Proficiency in surface mount soldering at the component level.Ability to perform fine-pitch soldering, including QFP components.Basic soldering experience with electronic parts, wires, and cable harnesses.Ability to use a microscope for detailed inspection of solder joints and assemblies.Experience with electronic assembly and surface-mount technology processes.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and assembly standards.Comfort working in a production environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
