Court Liaison Opportunity
Henry Ford Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Court Liaison to join our team.
Schedule: Monday through Friday (onsite)
Requirements:
- CPR certification and de-escalation/restraint training required (training will be provided upon hire by the facility)
Purpose of the Role:
The Court Liaison is responsible for coordinating clinically indicated services between the hospital and the court system for individuals receiving court-ordered services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit required legal documentation on behalf of patients and the facility
- Communicate court outcomes and updates to internal teams
- Coordinate and track court hearings and evaluations for involuntary patients
- Collaborate with court personnel (clerks, physicians, public defenders, etc.)
- Compile and organize patient records for court proceedings
- Monitor and report patient court status
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation
