Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics/RRT

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional for a position involving respiratory and neuro diagnostics. This role requires dedication and expertise in managing adult and pediatric patient populations.

• Shift: 3x12s
• Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Preferred Experience: PICU/NICU experience highly preferred
• Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
• Weekends: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)
• Time Off: All requested time off must be submitted with the submittal and approved prior to offer

Licensure & Certification Requirements

• Active New Jersey license required
• BLS required
• NBRC required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP highly preferred; travelers may obtain these certifications onsite

Patient Population / Unit Information

• Adult and pediatric patient populations

Float Expectations

• Will float between:
  • PICU
  • Emergency Department
  • Adult Critical Care
• May float to additional units based on skill set and hospital needs

Required Clinical Skills / Procedures

• Blood gas collection
• Ventilator initiation and management
• BiPAP initiation and management
• High-flow therapy initiation and management
• Code response
• In-house patient transport
• Medication administration
• Chest physiotherapy (Chest PT)

Required Equipment Experience

• Servo-I
• Servo-U
• V60 BiPAP

Charting System

• EPIC
