Job Duties Perform mechanical repairs on medium and heavy‑duty diesel trucks Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gauges Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order Keep work area clean and safe Other duties as assigned Desired Competencies Knowledge and experience with mechanics or a related field Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair medium and heavy‑duty vehicles Detail and process oriented Team Player Flexibility to meet changing demands Safety Focused Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license (having a CDL is beneficial but not required) 2+ years’ experience as a Diesel Truck Technician or similar position (preferred) Ability to obtain & maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Technical Certification Benefits Monthly Bonuses Health, Dental and Vision Insurance 401K with company matching Company paid Short‑term & Long‑Term Disability Insurance Annual Boot & Tool Allowance Opportunities for Advancement (Company Paid Volvo Module Training) We’re an equal opportunity employer.
