Reclaim Production Tech - 1st ShiftThe Reclaim Production Technician plays a crucial role in the management of refrigerants, assisting with both incoming and outgoing production requirements. This position involves collaborating with the Refriclaim team to ensure efficient loading and unloading of Rapid Recovery cylinders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. If you're eager to start a rewarding career and learn on the job, we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Refriclaim technicians to efficiently load and unload Rapid Recovery cylinders.Assist the production manager and production technicians in tracking incoming and outgoing inventory with accuracy.Actively participate in fostering a strong Health and Safety culture within the workplace.Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.Experience, Knowledge, and QualificationHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust be able to obtain EPA 608 CertificationMust be available to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for overtime hoursMust have high attention to detail to receive, inspect, and certify incoming and outgoing cylindersMust be able to follow standard operating proceduresMust be able to handle high-pressure and liquid cylindersPrevious experience working with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plusPhysical RequirementsFrequently pushes, pulls, moves and/or lifts up to 50 pounds independentlySitting 10% of the day; standing and/or walking 80-90% of the timeLifting/Carrying from one level to another approximately 20%Occasionally moves cylinders that weigh up to 200 pounds with four-wheel cartFrequently ascends/descends stairs and/or ladders, occasionally carrying materials weighing up to 30lbsFrequently identifies written information on cylinders such as serial numbers, manufacture date, etc.Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbersManipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the dayFrequently drives a motorized vehicle or powered industrial truck (i.e. Forklift) and safely maneuver in restrictive spacesStooping and kneeling up to 20% of the dayFrequently communicates detailed information to others.
