Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in Labor & Delivery, OB, postpartum, nursery, or a related maternal-child health nursing role
• Experience with Level 2 nursery or NICU-adjacent newborn care preferred
• Active RN license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and NRP
• Comfort working in a teaching hospital environment
• Ability to adapt quickly and contribute to a collaborative healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe, and skilled nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum families, and newborns
• Support patient care across Labor & Delivery, nursery, and postpartum areas as needed
• Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or neonatal status
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary staff in a teaching facility setting
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Promote a positive patient experience through strong communication, teamwork, and clinical excellence
