Nurse Educator, Informatics, Full Time, Evenings, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Informatics Nurse and Educator Provides informatics support to clinical team members. Supports the development, implementation and optimization of clinical information systems and ensures that the systems enhance patient care, nursing workflows and clinical decision-making. Provides training on new technologies and systems to healthcare professionals. Serve as a liaison between nursing, other clinical departments, and ISS to ensure user needs are met related to system design and functionality. Analyze clinical workflows to identify areas for improvement and translate those into system solutions or process changes. Lead or participate in the implementation of new healthcare technologies. Develop and provide training and support to nursing and clinical staff on the use of health information systems. Utilize data analytics and evidence based practice research to make informed decisions and support quality improvement initiatives. Participate in shared governance and change management process as it relates to informatics initiatives. Support the dissemination of informatics knowledge through preceptorship and participation in research. Other duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlantic Health System
