Essential Job Functions:Adhere to all safety regulations and/or directivesKeep forktruck clean and report any needed service requirementsMaintain hazardous materials room by monitoring level of waste solvent drum, notify Maintenance Leadperson as the drum approaches full, check, and fill oil bar dispensing drums as needed, clean floor of oil, rags and debris, mop as needed to maintain cleanlinessMaintain air compressor/fluid cooler area by keeping the equipment and floor clean of any oil and debris, check for air, water or oil leaks and notify the Maintenance Department of any detectedAssist in the installation, leveling, aligning, assembling, transporting, erecting, dismantling, loading and/or unloading of various machines, building structures and equipmentSafely operate maintenance hand tools and basic power toolsAssist in the performance of routine bench work, maintenance duties such as rebuilding regulators, etc.Assist in the performance of miscellaneous piping workLearn proper procedures regarding requisitions, receives and preventative maintenance work ordersMaintain outside grounds in an acceptable fashion. This includes but not limited to grass cutting, trimming, raking, pruning, weed, and trash removalPerform snow and ice removalPerform painting task as assignedPerform pallet repair and control pallet return programsMaintain clean work area and perform other cleaning duties as assigned by ManagementAssist in training other employees and Management Trainees as required.Attend training sessions as required.Exercise proper care and protection of company propertyAll other duties as assigned by Supervisor or ManagementEssential Job Requirements:Good written and verbal communication skillsAble to work at high speeds and multitaskDependable and flexible to work 8 hour shifts and overtime as neededAble to work with little supervisionAble to work at heights including use of steps and laddersEDUCATION :High School diploma or GED required.EXPERIENCE:Manufacturing experience preferredREQUIRED SKILLS: N/A PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat and stand for extended periods of time while performing job duties (up to 12 hours a day). Ability to push, pull, bend, climb steps and ladders, walk, and lift on a continuous basis (up to 12 hours a day).
