Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Day shift with typical start times between 6:45 AM and 7:30 AM
• 4 to 9 hour shifts with a 36-hour weekly guarantee
• 24-hour department coverage with variable scheduling
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements
• 30-minute call response time required
• Work in a 7-suite operating room performing 15 to 25 cases per day
• Common cases include general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, plastics, ENT, urology, C-sections, gynecology, and endoscopy
• Required experience with Da Vinci robotics, orthopedic spine, orthopedic totals, general surgery, ENT, urology, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy
• Scrubbing not required for RNs
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
• May be required to float to the outpatient surgery center
• Scrubs provided by facility; must provide own shoes that remain in the department
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Trauma Level 3 acute care setting

This acute care medical facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department featuring 7 operating suites capable of handling 15 to 25 cases per day across a wide range of surgical specialties. The facility supports advanced surgical procedures including robotic surgery and maintains 24-hour OR coverage to meet the needs of its patient population. The organization is committed to high-quality patient care and utilizes Cerner as its electronic medical records system.
