The nurse will care for patients of all ages. The facility has 21 beds, including telemetry and behavioral health beds. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. The role involves using emergency medical equipment and electronic health records. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience in emergency medicine, particularly with psychological emergencies, is preferred. Common diagnoses include COPD, DKA, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and neurological emergencies. The position requires someone who is a team player and can multitask efficiently. Dress code includes scrubs; open-toed footwear and spandex pants are not acceptable.
