Neuromuscular Neurologist opening in OhioCincinnati, OhFull timeJoin a well-established and reputable healthcare organization offering a Neuromuscular Neurology position with a flexible schedule, supportive infrastructure, and the opportunity to shape a high-volume subspecialty practice. Role Highlights: Neuromuscular-focused position with the opportunity to build a robust subspecialty patient base, while maintaining a mix of general neurology as desired Flexible scheduling, primarily outpatient-based with potential inpatient opportunities EMG/NCS volume flexible, typically 4 5 studies per half-day Supportive staffing, with opportunity for on-site EMG technician assistance Involvement in resident and medical student education Clinical trials participation encouraged but not required Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, physical exams, and appropriate testing to diagnose neuromuscular disorders Counsel patients on neuromuscular conditions and available treatment options Perform and interpret Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Electromyography (EMG) procedures Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including neuromuscular ultrasound, autonomic testing, and interpret nerve/muscle/skin biopsies Monitor and manage cognitive or behavioral effects of neuromuscular treatments Candidate Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or strong experience in Neuromuscular Medicine Proficiency in performing and interpreting EMG/NCS procedures Interest or experience in neuromuscular diagnostics such as muscle biopsy, ultrasound, and pathology is highly valued What We Offer: Competitive compensation package including a sign-on bonus and productivity incentives Large, established referral base from a strong primary care network Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement options, CME allowance, and generous PTO Access to wellness programs and lifestyle support resources* Academic and clinical support with teaching opportunities and potential for research participation
