Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years OR experience required. Multiple surgical specialty experience is required. License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required. Certifications: BLS (AHA) required. Must-Have: Traveler must be willing to perform OR RN duties (within scope of practice) in the Interventional Radiology unit. Scrub experience strongly preferred. Scrub OR RNs will receive first consideration for the offer. Description: Scrub experience is strongly preferred. Traveler must be willing to perform OR RN duties within the scope of practice in the Interventional Radiology unit. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates should be able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks if scheduled or needed during critical holiday periods. The surgical department specializes in the surgical treatment of a broad spectrum of clinical conditions. Having highly skilled surgeons with special interests allows for a wide variety of surgical procedures. Profile requirements include a cover page (if available), work history, and license/certifications. Traveler must have their own vehicle for this position. Permanent address must be included in the profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Scheduling requests after the offer may lead to rescinded offers. Call is required during the weekdays from 3:30 PM to 7 PM, usually 1-3 times per 5-6 days. Weekend on-call typically occurs from Friday 3:30 PM to Monday morning at 7 AM, usually about 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks.
