Process Engineer

Process Engineer | Millington, TN | Direct Hire Mural Group is partnering with a global industrial manufacturer at their processing facility in Millington, Tennessee to place a Process Engineering Manager. This is a direct hire, individual contributor role with plant-wide scope reporting to the VP of Operations. This is a senior individual contributor position with no direct reports. You will own process engineering across the site: continuous improvement programs, capital project support, process analysis and optimization, and daily presence on the production floor. Compensation $100,000 to $135,000. This is a firm range. What you will do Lead CI programs across the facility using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent structured methodology Provide process engineering support for capital projects and plant renovation initiatives Observe, analyze, and recommend design and process changes to improve efficiency, yield, and reliability Develop and document process standards, procedures, and performance metrics Spend meaningful time on the production floor, not behind a desk What we are looking for 5+ years of process engineering in a heavy industrial, chemical, or mineral processing environment Individual contributor mindset: you prefer to own technical work and drive results directly, not through a team Hands-on involvement in capital project planning and support Demonstrated CI program ownership with measurable results Lean/Six Sigma certification is a strong plus Degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, or related) preferred Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
