How you’ll contribute A Cath Lab Tech who excels in this role: Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors. Formulates an individualized plan of care, revises the plan as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment, and evaluates the overall plan daily for effectiveness. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient, protecting the patient’s rights. What we’re looking for Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, and be ARRT registered in the state of North Carolina. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. ACLS certification required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred.
