Role Description The Licensed Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based at The NOW in Rancho Mission Viejo, CA. This role focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality massage services tailored to each guest’s needs, including relaxation, stress relief, and therapeutic support. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough intake consultations, recommending appropriate services, maintaining a clean and calming treatment environment, and adhering to safety and hygiene standards. The therapist will provide massages aligned with The NOW’s service protocols, educate guests on wellness benefits and products, and contribute to a welcoming, professional atmosphere. Collaboration with boutique leadership and team members to ensure an exceptional guest experience is a key aspect of this role. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques, with the ability to customize sessions to guest needs. Experience or training in Shiatsu or similar modalities that support holistic wellness. Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and a guest-centric approach. Ability to support guests with Stress Management through professional touch, calming presence, and wellness guidance. Current state license or certification as a Massage Therapist in California and compliance with local regulatory requirements. Capability to work on-site in Rancho Mission Viejo, CA, including evenings and weekends as needed. Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
