Job Duties

A Med-Surg RN assesses and monitors patients conditions, including vital signs and symptoms, and administers medications and treatments as prescribed. They provide post-operative care and assist in patient recovery while maintaining and managing IV lines, catheters, and other medical equipment. They collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to plan and deliver patient care, educate patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery, and document patient information accurately by updating medical records. Additionally, they respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergencies, ensure a safe and clean patient care environment, and support patients with daily activities to promote overall well-being.
