Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Physician for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Fayetteville, North Carolina , beginning in September .

This is a structured weekday practice built around occupational medicine and urgent care . You'll treat workplace injuries, perform employment and regulatory examinations, manage walk-in acute-care presentations, and work directly with employers on the health and safe return to work of their employees.

Clinical Practice

Expect a varied outpatient day centered on the intersection of medicine and the workplace.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries
• Evaluate and treat walk-in urgent care patients
• Perform pre-placement physical examinations
• Perform DOT physicals
• Conduct public safety and medical surveillance examinations
• Perform appropriate in-office procedures
• Evaluate work status and support safe return-to-work decisions
• Communicate with employers and provide appropriate medical guidance
• Collaborate with and supervise advanced practice providers when applicable
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and efficiently

Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM

September Start

The practice operates on this same Monday-through-Friday 8A–5P schedule and is closed on weekends.

Practice Pace

This is an active outpatient practice rather than a low-volume clinic.

Physicians should be comfortable managing approximately:

• 35 patients per day
• Approximately 3 patient encounters per hour
• A combination of scheduled occupational-health services and walk-in care

The role is particularly well suited to a physician who can move efficiently between workplace injury evaluation, physical examinations, acute presentations, procedures and employer-related medical decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• MD/DO
• Occupational Medicine and/or Urgent Care experience
• Comfortable treating workplace injuries and acute outpatient presentations
• Comfortable performing in-office procedures
• Comfortable with an active outpatient patient volume
• Able to communicate effectively with employers and clinical teams
• Able to collaborate with or supervise APPs when required
• DOT certification preferred
• Appropriate North Carolina licensure and credentialing eligibility
