What do our Pest Control Consultants do? The primary purpose of this role is to sell the company’s industry‑leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers, while maintaining customer‑focused service to grow the business. You will be the face of our national brand in your local community, protecting homes and families through expert consultation and sales. Responsibilities Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries; sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on findings. Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians to generate additional opportunities. Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and develop proposals addressing existing pest issues plus additional enhancements. Complete home diagrams using the Sales CRM to ensure clarity of customer home and potential challenges. Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities. Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion. Complete daily activities and track sales performance using the company sales CRM. Essential Job Functions Move up to 10 lb. regularly and 11–20 lb. frequently (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling). Move around a lot—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, using stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles; maintain balance on uneven surfaces. Handle various pests (spiders, flies, mosquitoes, rodents, etc.) and work in small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics. Safely operate a motor vehicle and keep it and all equipment clean. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator and work in confined spaces and narrow aisles. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license from your current state of residence. (Company vehicle and gas card provided.) Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; sales experience or training is a plus. Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience. Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).
