Assistant EPC Project Manager

Job OverviewThis position involves onsite work at various client projects with the possibility of remote travel. Overtime pay and per diem allowance are included.The Assistant EPC Project Manager aids in overseeing a diverse range of large construction projects, primarily in the expanding data center industry. Additional projects include work in chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and heavy industrial sectors. Responsibilities include coordinating project details such as change requests, scheduling, progress monitoring, stakeholder communication, team coordination, expense tracking, and budget adherence. The Assistant EPC Project Manager also assists in reporting and resolving project issues as they arise. This role is crucial in ensuring project success and goal achievement.Responsibilities• Support in estimating project scope and expenses• Manage subcontractors and project execution• Maintain project records• Track project costs and stay within budget• Prepare project reports• Communicate with clients and subcontractors• Attend project meetings and participate actively• Propose solutions for design issues• Monitor field and contract work for compliance• Assist with project submissions and RFIs• Aid in billing completion and trackingQualifications• 2-5 years of relevant experience• Able to work independently and in teams• Proficient in computer skills and quick to adapt to new systems• Dedicated to improving communication, organization, and leadership abilities• Skilled in scheduling and task delegation for on-time completion• Capable of tactful conflict resolution and problem-solving• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience• Familiar with reading drawings and specifications• Knowledgeable in computer-based estimating• Understanding of billing and collections processes
