Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Implement treatment plans designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function
• Educate patients and their families on exercise programs and home care techniques
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Adapt treatments to meet individual patient needs and goals

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
