Enterprise Account Executive - Commercial HVAC (Charlotte)

National Sales Director - HVACPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced National Sales Director to lead and grow our commercial and industrial HVAC sales across the United States. The role combines strategic business development, enterprise account management, and team leadership to drive revenue for HVAC and MEP solutions. The successful candidate will develop national sales strategy, manage key national accounts, partner with operations and engineering, and expand market share in commercial, industrial and MEP segments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a national sales strategy for HVAC, MEP and related mechanical systems to achieve revenue, margin and market-share targets.Own and grow strategic national and enterprise accounts, acting as the primary executive sponsor for key customers and channel partners.Build, lead and coach a high-performing sales team (direct and indirect), setting goals, KPIs and territories while recruiting top talent.Drive business development initiatives for new commercial and industrial opportunities, including project pursuit, RFP responses and solution positioning.Partner with operations, engineering, estimating and product teams to align offerings, optimize proposals, ensure constructability and deliver client value.Manage sales pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce, ensuring accurate reporting and CRM hygiene across the team.Negotiate complex contracts and commercial terms with national accounts, ensuring profitable outcomes and long-term relationships.Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs to refine product, service and go-to-market strategies.Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows and customer meetings to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.Implement sales processes and enablement tools to improve conversion rates, shorten sales cycles and scale sales execution nationally.QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.10+ years of progressive sales experience in HVAC, MEP, industrial or commercial construction sales with demonstrated success in enterprise and national accounts.Proven track record leading and scaling sales teams, with experience in hiring, coaching and performance management.Strong business development skills with experience closing multimillion-dollar projects and long-term service agreements.Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM to manage pipeline, forecasting and reporting.Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP coordination, commercial construction processes and relevant project delivery methods.Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills with executive-level customers and stakeholders.Ability to travel nationally as required and manage remote teams across multiple regions.Data-driven, strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, ability to build business cases and deliver EBITDA-positive growth.BenefitsCompetitive Base Salary: $130k - $170kLucrative commission structureCareer Development/GrowthCompany VehicleHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceRetirement Plans w/ company matchPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
