RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 10-bed surgical intensive care unit
• Every other weekend schedule required
• May float to all ICU floors as needed
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Maximum 7 days requested time off
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Manager interview required after clinical screening
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line management, CRRT, vasoactive drips titration, blood product administration, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
• Care for patients with vascular surgeries, complex abdominal surgeries, and various surgical intensive care conditions
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT and wound vacs
• Complete pre-start modules (5-6 hours, billable)
• Pass EKG exam within 72 hours of contract signing where applicable

The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains high clinical standards and utilizes advanced medical equipment and technology to provide specialized care for complex surgical patients and those requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
