An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services, supporting students within educational settings in the Hyattsville, MD area. This contract position requires expertise in virtual speech therapy delivery aligned with school schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language evaluation and therapy services via teletherapy platforms to students
• Manage caseloads varying by student age group, from elementary to middle school levels, ensuring individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educational supervisors to tailor assignments according to skillset and geographical location
• Adhere to teletherapy best practices in compliance with school district policies and professional standards
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for students served

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Current and active Maryland license in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Minimum of 3 years post-COVID virtual school-based speech therapy experience, including at least 2 years within the last 5 years
• Availability for 35 hours weekly, typically scheduled across three full days on Eastern Standard Time
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in telehealth technologies

Required Credentials and Compliance:

• Valid Maryland Speech Language Pathologist licensure must be submitted with application
• Completion of background checks in accordance with state regulations
• Submission of references and relevant documentation including licenses and resumes for credentialing purposes
