Fall 2027 Accounting and Technology Associate

We Do Consulting Differently BRG's Accounting & Technology teams help clients analyze complex financial, operational, accounting, technological, and business issues in connection with legal, regulatory, and investigative matters. The team supports corporations, boards of directors, legal counsel, insurers, and other clients by turning complicated records and data into clear, reliable insights. About the Role As an Associate, you will support teams working on complex financial and legal matters, including commercial disputes, healthcare disputes and investigations, business insurance claims, forensic investigations, cyber investigations, international arbitrations, advisory engagements in banking and healthcare, and business valuations. What You'll Do Analyze financial statements, accounting records, operational data, and other business information. Support damages analyses, business interruption calculations, valuation work, claim preparation, and investigative findings. Assist with reconstructing financial information, developing financial models, and identifying key trends or anomalies. Help prepare expert reports, trial demonstratives, presentations, exhibits, and other client deliverables. Support client interviews, fraud investigations, compliance reviews, discovery efforts, internal controls assessments, and risk mitigation work. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics or other related subject, with an expected graduation date between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027. 3.6 GPA or higher preferred. Strong quantitative, research, problem-solving, and written communication skills. Willingness to consider becoming a CPA. Locations Associates will primarily be hired in locations like Washington DC, New York, Boston, Houston, Chicago, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Associates are expected to work a minimum of 3 days per week from an office, though we highly encourage new Associates to work from the office as often as possible.
