X-Ray Technologist/ Medical Assisting

Job Description Job Description The X-ray technologist plays a crucial role in an outpatient clinic setting. Performing digital radiography to capture high-quality diagnostic images and assisting the physicians with daily clinical routines. This full-time position focuses on maintaining patient safety and comfort while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The technologist provides careful services to adult patients. Clinical Responsibilities * Capture precise diagnostic images using digital radiography systems. * Operate and maintain imaging equipment effectively. * Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols. * Assisting the physician during physical exams and minor procedures, and resetting exam rooms afterward. * Taking a patient's medical history, checking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight), and preparing them for examinations. * Explaining medical procedures to help patients feel comfortable and providing basic treatment care. * Collecting urine samples and administering medications as directed by a physician. * Interact professionally with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort. * Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. * Monitor compliance with regulatory and facility requirements. Preferred Qualifications * Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic technology or willing to train * ARRT Certification * Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques * Attention to detail in performing and reviewing images * Effective communication skills with patients and team members * Computer skills and typing accurately * Willing to learn to navigate Electronic Health Record software * Handling digital data safely to comply with HIPAA regulations. * Multi-tasking, answering phones, digital faxing, and professional emailing Company Description WorkRight Occupational Health Services is a specialized medical practice that provides comprehensive occupational health care, workforce screening, and physical therapy.
