Feeding Clinic Psychologist Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital invites applications for a Licensed Psychologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology Medicine’s nationally recognized Feeding Clinic, featuring a fully integrated team of outpatient feeding therapists, nutritionists, and speech-language pathologists.\n
\n

Opportunity highlights: \n

• Outpatient-only role focused on pediatric feeding, serving ages 0–18.
\n
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including Speech, Nutrition, and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
\n
• Work daily with a high-volume population of children with feeding disorders, most with co-occurring neurodevelopmental disabilities, especially autism.
\n
• Caseload of approximately 5 patients per day, with opportunities to teach and mentor developmental residents and graduate students.
\n
• Engagement across the full mission: clinical care, teaching, research, and community outreach.
\n
• Supervision of a master’s level therapist.
\n
• Academic rank based upon qualifications.
\n

What we’re seeking: \n

\n
• Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) with experience in pediatric populations.
\n
• Clinical background in feeding disorders, eating challenges, or pediatric behavioral health.
\n
• Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
\n
• Comfort working in an outpatient, interdisciplinary setting alongside Speech, Nutrition, and Pediatric GI.
\n
• Ability to manage a steady daily caseload (approx. 5 patients) and coordinate care with families.
\n
• Interest in teaching, supervision, and mentoring trainees (residents, graduate students).
\n
• Commitment to research, quality improvement, and/or community outreach within the feeding program.
\n
• Strong administrative and organizational skills to support referrals, scheduling, and clinic operations.
\n
• Collaborative, team oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
\n
