The primary responsibilities include supporting and improving manufacturing processes through the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation and control systems. This role focuses on increasing efficiency, reducing downtime, and supporting safe, reliable production operations. The engineer will work closely with manufacturing, maintenance, and operations teams to develop and sustain automated production equipment and control solutions.Essential Functions:Develop, implement, and support manufacturing automation and control systems for production processes and equipmentSupport new equipment integration, commissioning, validation, and startup activitiesIdentify and implement process improvements to increase throughput and improve equipment reliabilityTroubleshoot controls and automation issues on manufacturing equipment and lead root cause corrective actionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support production readiness, process capability, and continuous improvement initiativesWork with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and improve preventive maintenance strategiesSupport capital equipment projects, including requirements definition, vendor coordination, acceptance testing, and implementationEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing systems and equipmentProvide technical support and training to operators, technicians, and manufacturing personnelQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Preferred Qualifications:Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause investigation skillsEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsExperience working in an energetic manufacturing facility preferred#LI-QN1
