Manual Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to support our repair and manufacturing operations by producing high-precision parts used in industrial equipment.

Manual Machinist Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 19.00 to $ 24.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
  • Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and presses
  • Machine parts to client specifications for oilfield and various industrial applications
  • Use precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers, measuring accurately to.001
  • Verify dimensions, adjust tooling, and ensure parts meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments

Manual Machinist Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience operating manual mills and lathes
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools and take accurate measurements
  • Strong math skills, especially with fractions, decimals, and measurements
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and quality-driven
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
