Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC)

Temp- Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and providing patient and caregiver education while maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed Assess treatment outcomes and make referrals when appropriate Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members Complete discharge summaries and maintain accurate documentation Record treatment services in the electronic medical record system Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and required trainings Supervise and support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLP students Maintain compliance with ASHA standards, state practice acts, and professional ethics Requirements Minimum 1 year of Speech‑Language Pathology experience Long‑Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience required Active Missouri SLP license required CCC‑SLP certification required Active ASHA certification required Additional Information New graduates will be considered if they have completed a Level II clinical placement Missouri compact license accepted Orientation provided prior to start date #J-18808-Ljbffr Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates
