As part of our team, you’ll experience unmatched career development, collaboration, and the chance to be part of something extraordinary.Work Location: Onsite, Full-timePosition Summary:We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst Support who has a proven track record of accuracy, attention to detail, and keen eye for discovering trends in the data.The Financial Analyst Support role will provide specialized financial analysis and support services to our customer with tasks including financial reporting, forecasting, reconciliation, financial modeling, risk assessment, market research, compliance, and communication.Essential Functions:Perform Government-Focused Financial AnalysisAnalyze financial documentation to identify trends, variances, and discrepanciesReconcile federal financial records in coordination with Financial Management (FM) Points of Contact and agency stakeholdersSupport Budget Formulation & ExecutionAssist with the creation of government budgets and forecasts in compliance with OMB guidance and appropriation lawsMonitor program execution and report variances to federal customersDevelop Financial Models for Federal ProgramsBuild models that evaluate program investment value, cost-benefit outcomes, and lifecycle forecastingEnsure methodologies align with federal financial best practicesConduct Risk Analysis per Federal StandardsIdentify and assess financial risks related to federal contracts, funding sources, and budget constraintsCollaborate with acquisition and program teams to develop mitigation strategiesPerform Market Research for Acquisition SupportGather market and pricing data to inform acquisition strategies and cost estimationAssist Program Managers (PMs) with financial considerations during contract planning and negotiationEnsure Compliance and Support Audit RemediationEnsure adherence to federal financial regulations, including GAAP, FAR, DFARS, and FIAR requirementsProvide documentation and analysis to support audit readiness and remediation effortsProduce Financial Reporting and Presentations for Government StakeholdersCreate tailored presentations and reports for federal customers, program offices, and contracting officersCommunicate financial analysis and recommendations clearly and professionallyLeverage Analytical Tools in Government ContextUtilize Excel, Power BI, and federal reporting systems to analyze and visualize data for program and agency useDrive continuous improvement in data integrity, transparency, and reporting accuracyQualifications:Must be a U.S. CitizenBachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, and 2-4 years of professional experience.Preferred: Prior experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.Proficiency in analyzing financial data using Excel, Power BI, or other tools.Ability to work with numbers, analyze trends, and interpret financial data.Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.Ability to identify risks, propose solutions, and make informed decisions.Why Choose MIRACORP?At MIRACORP, we recognize that our employees are the cornerstone of our success.
