Enhance professional growth while ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.Job DescriptionManager Respiratory Services OverviewThe Manager Respiratory Services oversees respiratory care operations, ensuring quality patient outcomes and compliance with healthcare standards.Lead teams in implementing innovative respiratory care solutions across multiple sites or a single location.Develop and monitor respiratory care goals, objectives, and pulmonary standards to enhance service delivery.Provide training and development opportunities for staff to ensure professional growth and adherence to evidence-based practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and maximize resource utilization.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining a safe and effective care environment.Promote patient advocacy and oversee the development of comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.Implement service quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.Foster collaboration and communication within and across teams to achieve organizational objectives.Manager Respiratory Services Key Responsibilities & DutiesManage respiratory care teams, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols.Oversee resource allocation and streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency.Develop and implement evidence-based practice standards, monitoring outcomes and providing necessary training.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements, addressing risks proactively.Guide teams in conducting patient assessments and developing tailored care plans.Promote quality improvement initiatives and resolve complex service/care issues effectively.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.Lead strategic planning and performance discussions to align with organizational goals.Mentor staff to enhance competencies and foster professional development.Manager Respiratory Services Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Care Administration, or related field required.Minimum seven years of experience in respiratory therapy or related field.Three years of inpatient respiratory therapy management experience in a hospital environment.Experience with inpatient adult and Level 3 NICU care required.California Respiratory Care Practitioner License and National Respiratory Therapy Certificate required.Proficiency in managing teams within a unionized environment preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills to foster collaboration and drive performance.Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety protocols in healthcare settings.Ability to implement evidence-based practices and monitor outcomes effectively.
