Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state.
• Background in school-based OT services, addressing the unique needs of K-12 students.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and organization.
• Experience assessing and providing interventions for a variety of developmental, sensory, and physical challenges.
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students’ functional abilities within the school environment.
• Develop personalized intervention plans and implement evidence-based strategies to help students achieve their IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
• Offer consultation and training to staff as needed.
