Human Resources Generalist

Support people operations for both office and fulfillment teams in Carteret, NJ. Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment for entry-level roles, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and hiring support Manage new hire onboarding activities, including orientation and completion of employment documentation Support employee relations activities, including investigations, coaching, and preparation of disciplinary documentation Review timecards, attendance records, and missed punches, and coordinate corrections as needed Process temporary employee payroll across multiple locations Maintain confidential employee records and keep HRIS information up to date Assist with benefits enrollment, leave requests, employee changes, and separations Coordinate with staffing agencies for temporary staffing needs and to address employee concerns Partner with managers on staffing, performance concerns, training support, and employee engagement initiatives Ensure day-to-day HR operations align with company policies and applicable employment requirements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent education and experience At least 2 years of HR experience Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and timekeeping Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Work Location and Schedule Onsite in Carteret, NJ Role supports both office and fulfillment employees with regular interaction across departments Occasional flexibility in work hours may be needed to support different shifts Compensation USD 65,000 - 75,000 per year Benefits Competitive pay and performance bonuses 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Company‑paid life insurance and EAP support Generous PTO and career growth opportunities Technologies Microsoft Office HRIS systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery
