About the Position

Mobile MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Outpatient Clinic | Days | Multiple shift options available: 5x8s (12:30 PM–9:00 PM), 4x10s (10:30 AM–9:00 PM), or 3x12s (8:30 AM–9:00 PM). Saturday shifts (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) required on a rotating basis. Total hours equal 40 per week. No holiday or on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols on diverse patient populations for physician interpretation.
• Conduct a range of MRI procedures including general exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast MRI, and cardiac MRI.
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment in compliance with facility and safety standards.
• Report to the site supervisor and radiology manager, following departmental guidelines and procedures.
• Potentially float between two outpatient clinic locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Active BLS certification required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required; state license is not required.
• Must possess or obtain a radiation badge through the staffing agency prior to start (facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers).
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Sectra imaging systems.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records.
