Marketing And Business Development Coordinator

Business Development & Marketing Coordinator Location : Chicago (3 days in office) Compensation : Hourly, non-exempt eligible for a generous overtime plan ($60k-$83k) LHH Recruitment is working with a prominent law firm to hire a marketing and business development professional to support growth initiatives, proposal development, attorney marketing efforts, and client engagement activities within a professional services environment. This role works closely with attorneys and internal teams to help drive business development efforts, maintain marketing materials, and support strategic initiatives. Ideal candidates for this role will have experience in legal marketing, professional services marketing, business development, communications, proposals, client development, or attorney support functions. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is required in business, marketing or related field Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing or business development Prior law firm experience is preferred Experience using CRM, CMS (content management systems) and proposal generation tools is a plus Key Responsibilities Business Development Support Assist with creating pitch materials, proposals, and RFP responses. Help develop presentations and other materials used to win new business. Track business development activities and results. Practice Group & Strategic Planning Support business development plans for assigned practice areas. Coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-up activities. Monitor budgets and assist with strategic initiatives. Maintain attorney biographies, practice descriptions, presentations, website content, and other marketing collateral. Update experience and client databases to ensure information is accurate and current. Assist with developing content that highlights firm capabilities and successes. Rankings, Awards & Research Help prepare submissions for industry rankings and awards. Conduct market, industry, competitor, and prospect research. Support competitive intelligence and business growth initiatives. Events & Sponsorships Coordinate participation in conferences, seminars, sponsorships, and speaking engagements. Help maximize visibility and networking opportunities through industry events. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with teams across finance, compliance, operations, and other departments to gather information and support business development efforts. Assist with additional marketing and business development projects as needed. Additional Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of marketing, business development, or professional services experience. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills. Excellent organization, project management, and multitasking abilities. Ability to build relationships with professionals across multiple departments. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
