Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Teterboro, NJ (100% On-Site)Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 + Competitive Benefits About the Opportunity LHH is partnering with a growing and stable organization in Teterboro, NJ to find a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist . What You'll Be Doing
- Manage day-to-day accounts receivable operations using accounting software
- Process high-volume cash receipts with speed and accuracy
- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and billing issues
- Generate, review, and distribute monthly customer statements
- Monitor aging reports and support collections efforts
- Accurately enter and maintain customer agreements and billing data
- Review and post recurring charges and invoices
- Assist with journal entries and general ledger support
- Support 1099/1096 reporting and year-end processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve client and internal inquiries
- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience in a high-volume environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of their work
