Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Details
• Evening/Night Shift
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36-hour work weeks
• Hours: 1900 - 0730 Requirements
- Active Washington State or Compact RN Licensure
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Adherence to all relevant policies and unit standards
- Compliance with the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards
- Willingness to float as a sitter and rotate as needed
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care with compassion, using the nursing process and unit standards.
- Develop, implement, and continuously reassess individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments.
- Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and make necessary adjustments.
- Document patient care, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and responses accurately.
- Collect and utilize patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Conduct thorough ongoing assessments of patient status and respond accordingly.
- Determine and implement nursing actions that address the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients.
- Provide education to patients, families, and significant others, offering timely health information and written materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
- Engage in performance evaluation and improvement processes with management.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with all members of the healthcare team.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with established policies.
