Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to assist with leasing, resident relations, property operations, marketing, and administrative responsibilities. This position will also provide leadership and support in the absence of the Property Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartment homes by responding to inquiries, touring prospects, processing applications, and closing leases.
• Process move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and maintain accurate resident files.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to resident questions and concerns.
• Assist with marketing efforts and track leasing traffic and results.
• Conduct daily property inspections and help maintain a clean, attractive community.
• Handle rent collection, deposits, financial records, and other basic bookkeeping responsibilities.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, apartment turns, and resident services.
• Assist with resident events and community activities.
• Support and train leasing staff and help oversee daily property operations when the Property Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Previous property management or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and property management software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord/tenant regulations is preferred.
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
